Where'd they get all the timber from? I saw no trees only desert scrub.

As a young boy, I watched the filming of this movie. The scenes were all shot in and near Snow Canyon, Utah (desert scenes) and in Pine Valley -- about 40 miles North-East (the Sioux camp) The logs were taken from that area.
