I KNEW the bit about the old watchman getting attacked. I pretty much remembered when it would be. I STILL jumped and cried out, and that hardly ever happens to me in a movie! I had to laugh because I shrieked even when I KNEW what was going to happen. Hmmmm... Maybe that's why I did: I was tensed up, waiting for it then almost convinced myself my memory was wrong. The poked-out eye is still gross, and I think the creature noises are amazing! I'm so glad that I spotted it and had time to get a videotape ready. Then, I taped "Them!" (more creepy creature sounds)
Now, I'm seeing if "Shanks" will fit onto the tape and might have room for a fourth film if I'm lucky~a short fourth film of course.
As for this film: Again, I was delighted by all of the details in the script, from the sandwiches kept cold in a drawer at the morgue to the man fussing about the failed proposition. Then, there was the switchboard operator talking to her mother. *giggle*
