Why can't i buy this for less than $99.00 on DVD???

I have good memories of this film from when i was young, i've always had a soft spot for James Cagney and i love special effects make up people like Dick Smith, Rick Baker and Tom Savini, so is it any wonder i would be attracted to a film loosely based on the master?

Why can't i buy it on DVD?
I'm not so want to part with a $100.00 for it, yet Amazon.com have sellers asking for that and more!

Thanks Brendan

only thing is i can't convert NTSC video, i can watch it, so that may be my only option.
Checking tonight the lowest price on amazon is now $129.99

what annoyed me more i've just watched the extras for the 1943 version of Phantom of the Opera and it had a clip of Man Of A Thousand Faces with "Available From Universal Studios Home Video" captioned on screen, and here i sit knowing full well it isn't :)

again thanks
D

Avoid cinemacom.com . . . they're selling unauthorized DVD-R bootlegs.

I know this was 3 years ago, but anyone looking for this film (to watch, not buy) should try searching their local library. They often have older, out of print DVDs. That's where I found this film last year.

It's $17.99 on Amazon.
