If you liked The Shrinking Man, you should read He Who Shrank.

I watched the film yesterday, very cool for the time. I was confused because I was not sure if the movie was inspired by He Who Shrank short novella by Henry Hasse.
Well, reading about it, The Shrinking Man written by Richard Matheson was published in 1956, while He Who Shrank was published in 1936! But according to wiki the Matheson was not inspired by Henry Hasse, or at least nothing about influence was mentioned, but I still think is possible.

It would be great if Hollywood could make a new movie based on those two stories, after all, He Who Shrank is almost like the things that follows the end of The Incredible Shrinking Man, meaning the journey of the protagonist trough all kinds of new smaller and smaller worlds.

I still don't know why is much more famous The Shrinking Man than He Who Shrank, but anyway, both are great Sci-Fi, being the latter much more fascinating to me because of the concept of infinite miniature universes.
