they actually found out that it is not the carbon that is the major problem but actually nitrogen which is like 78% of the earths atmosphere which would have been there even if humans didn't exist.
sure carbon has been screwing up the ozone layer... big deal.
but it is actually the fixed nitrogen like in fertilizers that makes the water more salty and warmer
They could film this today in Gore's cavernous mansion using an actor with no special effects to make him small because he would look tiny in perspective.
