People of the Black Coast

This premise reminds me a little of "People of the Black Coast" by Robert E. Howard. I suppose anything about giant, telepathic crabs would remind me of it, seeing as how it was the first giant, telepathic crab story I'd ever come across. Black Coast was published in '69; I wonder if REH got the idea from this movie, or from some other giant, telepathic crab tale?

The movie too me looked good in the trailer i wouldn't mind seeing it on dvd.

Robert Howard killed himself cuz he couldn't get a date with a guy who dressed up as Jesus to win dance contests. What would you expect from somebody with such good taste?

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

As the previous poster has pointed out REH killed himself, But he did it in 1936. So there seems to be no direct influence either way, Unless you put it into context within the telepathic crab genre as a whole.
