For those not growing up in the fifty's under the constant fear of nuclear war and for this boy who in 1957 was a mere 7 years old this atmospheric ,haunting film with a solid sound track gave me chills seeing how this new type of killer called Radiation would change the world around me. At this time no one really knew what the long term effects Radiation would have on our world. Yes by today's special effects this movie is corny ,funny but living back then you only had your imagination to stir up unknown horrors from the dropping of atomic bombs to Create giant crabs, giant ants, grasshoppers and a horde of creepy crawlers to terrorize our planet.
Yes it was truely a wonderful era back in the fiftys...... long live those Giant brain eating crabs!!
