Was this show ever available in High Definition? Are we going to see Zorro released in 1080p someday like Star Trek: The Original Series or not?

Assuming it was filmed in 35 mm (like Star Trek), there should be far more resolution available than was shown on 1950s TV. Not sure exactly how much, but enough to look noticeably better.
