I miss Vault Disney!!

Man, I miss all the shows from Vault Disney so much! Isn't there anything we can do to get our Zorro, Hardy Boys, and the original Mouskateers back?? Come on people!! Let's band together to get our Vault Disney back!!

Barbossa: Isla de Muerta, remember? You shot me.
Jack: No I didn't!

reply

I agree! We made that an every night occurence. I don't understand why they never carried through on putting The Vault on the Family Channel. That was the original purpose of buying it. So why did they change their minds?

reply

As Disney/ABC is one of the biggest media entities on the planet, I wonder why they don't launch an additional "Vault" Disney channel to complement "Tween" Disney? The current Tween Disney is great; that is if you are in the 8-14 age bracket.

reply

I agree with everything you all are saying. On the bright side there are special edition DVDs with all the classic Disney stuff like Zorro, The Mickey Mouse Club, and Disneyland. There are even those that come in really nice tins with classic cartoons and shows and such. If I had the money, I would buy them all myself.

reply

VAULT DISNEY CHANNEL, man sign me up!!
Too bad we are stuck with Hanna, zack and cody and the rest of the racially diverse nutritionally challenged kids.

reply

Wow! I thought I was the only person in the world to remember Vault Disney!

Zorro, Mickey Mouse Club, Spin-N-Marty, and Disneyland!

That was the best lineup of the 90s and I wish they can bring that back other than airing the 3,000th rerun of That So Raven and the other garbage that stinks up the afternoon programming.

reply

Vault Disney was the only thing I ever watched in Disney Channel

Will we ever get the Wonder Years on DVD!!

reply

I miss it too...I don't like the Disney Channel anymore, it's all garbage. Count me in for getting it back on the air.

reply

I'm only 17. I was like, 8 or 9 when they stopped airing Vault Disney, and I FREAKED OUT! You'd normally think that someone that age would be happy to see those OLD shows go, but nope!!!! I miss them SOOO much! They were really cute, funny, and they had great values! Now it's really just garbage... ew.

It be too late to alter course, mateys. And these be the last friendly words ye'll hear!

reply

I completely agree!! Vault Disney was the best... I watched it religiously everynight. Zorro was always on at midnight hehe. Now Disney shows nothing but crappy real-life shows (ie. Hannah Montana, etc.). I also hecka miss Toon Disney with the old cartoons like Aladdin, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers and Gummi Bears!!

Who came out first?I suppose you have the right to know. Are you ready? The one with the bigger c@ck!

Real-life? Hannah Montana? How in the WORLD do you consider that to be real-life?!?!

lol. it's all good.

Anyway, ya! I miss the Gummi Bears too!!

Nickelodeon has gone downhill too. Like, RUGRATS!! I MISS RUGRATS!!!

These be the last friendly words ye'll hear! Ye may not survive to pass this way again.

They should just make a Vault Disney channel. I would probably watch it 24/7. I hate Disney channel now, it makes me happy that I had Vault Disney when I was a kid, instead of the crap shows now!

reply

I've always thought that Disney should create a channel just for the Classic Disney TV shows from the 50's, 60's and even the 70's. They could also include real classic Disney movies on the channel. Even though I do love the new shows on Disney today, I long to watch the shows such as Spin and Marty, Annette, the Hardy Boys, and of course Zorro.

reply

Disney has released the first seasons of Spin & Marty and The Hardy Boys in their "Disney Treasures" Tin Box DVD's. On the second Tuesday of November they are releasing the Annette series in the same format.

I only occaasionally watch the Disney channel any more. There are a few movies that are fun. But much of it is 'all the same', and horrible as far as the values that they present.

I'm much happier watching Leave It To Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, Little House on the Prairie... what a shame they think we need 'shock and awe' (to be polite) for entertainment these days!

reply

I used to watch Zorro every night at 11 pm. The small town I used to live in added Disney channel to our line-up there, so we didn't have to subscribe to it. Then I moved here where I live now and this city's cable company makes you subscribe to the Disney channel. I've lived here nearly 10 years and haven't subscribed to the Disney channel, so I didn't know they'd quit showing Zorro. Well, screw Disney channel and screw the cable companies...I've got season one of Zorro on DVD and I'm expecting season 2 soon. I ordered the 2 seasons from a site on the web. Reason I'm not naming the site is because these are colorized. I know not everyone likes colorized. Most people probably prefer the original black and white. Personally, I love colorized...but that's just me.

I always watched Vault Disney. It was the best. I love the old series and movies from Disney. They all had a style to them that is gone today. I have not watched the Disney channel since that time it went off.

reply

If i remember correctly Vault Disney would show the classic cartoon movies as well. I loved staying up to watch Vault Disney to see Zorro.

reply

This is the only vault disney show i watched!

I fondly remember Zorro and Vault Disney when I was a kid. I'm 17 now, so it stopped airing when I was pretty young.

I used to watch it before I started school. (So when I was like 3 or 4). Because at that time I didn't have a bed time, so I loved it so much.

Nickelodeon sucks now too. Their shows are terrible.

reply

I used to watch it as a kid also.
What's great is that it is showing on my cable weekdays at 11 am pacific time, on KNBCW, they also show The Rifleman, Lone Ranger, Wyatt Earp, Adam 12, and many more, and good quality film.

I'm enjoying it now.
