The book - Maverick: Legend of the West, and revision
Hi,
Can any avid Maverick fans please advice, is the Second (Revised) printing of Ed Robertson's, apparently excellent, book on the Series worth spending double the price on to get the Revised edition?
We've recently embarked on watching the series in order, and this seems an excellent time to invest in an accompanying guide. However times are tight and I am wondering if I can make do with the older version, which I would guess includes the most vital details. I do see that the page count has increased from around 200 to around 300, but that could be largely re-formatting. I do believe the late, great, James Garner may have contributed to the Second Edition however.
While on the subject, I have Burl Barer's book about the Series and film. How does that compare?
Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
