Paladin getting shot

I've just noticed that almost every time Palasin is wounded, he leaps in the air, spins around in a 360, and falls to the ground! I've seen him do it in a number of episodes now, it's pretty amusing!

Richard Boone saw many men die in WWII. These would be real men dying real deaths. Once his plane was shot down on an island and he had to defend himself in hand-to-hand combat. Having said that, he once said in an interview that when he was shot he always did a two step fall, which he learned taking dance from Martha Graham the great dance teacher. Somehow with the knowledge that I lost family members in WWII, one of them a war hero at Normandy, I don't find this in the least amusing. Richard Boone had three ships shot out from under him: one was torpedoed, one was kamikazied and the other taken out by anti-aircraft fire. I never met my Uncle Lefty who pitched two no-hitters but I was told that my father was never the same after losing his little brother.

Death is not funny to everyone. Richard Boone earned a chest full of medals. He came home and threw all of them away. My father-in-law did exactly the same thing. The medals were rescued by their mothers from the wastepaper basket. One wonders how many men threw away their medals and didn't have them rescued from the trash.
