So disappointing
Finally saw this and was disappointed. Cinemascope doesn't help much. Decent acting by Hugh Marlowe and Rod Taylor, but The Time Travelers (1964) is a much better movie.

shareAh well, just goes to show that not everyone likes the same things. Personally, I loved this movie. Granted, it was low-budget, but that did not detract from the over-all quality, and like you said, the acting was good.
Just curious: what didn't you like about the film?
It suffers by comparison. Queen of Outer Space gives us dozens of hot girls; this one only has a few. The Time Travelers and The Time Machine have more interesting plots, higher quality direction, special effects and production design. For example, the mutants in The Time Travelers were played by the L.A. Lakers; the mutant vs. android war has more dramatic impact; and the ending is original. And the DP was Vilmos Zsigmond. Etc. On the plus side, World Without End is one of the first, if not THE first, post nuclear war, mutant vs. underground normal, sci fi movie. But I'm too lazy to research it further.
shareAh well; to each his own, I guess. You take care.
