My favorite Lancaster film. Tony and Gina Lolabrigida are wonderful as well. Their costumes and physiques were beautiful. For those of us who were lucky enough to experience a real circus as kids, we'd love to have this one on DVD.

shareI saw this too, what does this way of selling mean? They offer a dvd-r on ordering. No info on amazon if the disk is widescreen or not, or any details for that matter.

shareJust got the disc today. Yes, it is a DVD-R disc. The print is 16:9 letterboxed for scope 2.40. The print used has some wear and is region 1. Running time: 105 minutes.

It was released years ago on laserdisc. Good copy. I was fortunate enough to
find it on laserdisc, because i could later transfer the movie to dvd, and, latter, to my computer. I love this movie i feel sad i had to have so much trouble to get it. Sad that lots of fantastic older movies are being forgotten nowadays...
