Playwright Robert Anderson, who adapted his hit play TEA AND SYMPATHY for the MGM film, has died at 91:

Very sorry to hear he suffered from Alzheimer's – and for seven long years, no less – but he certainly had a long and productive life. A tea-time toast to Mr. Anderson!
