I was surprised and amused to recognise the 'baking legend' Jane Asher play a minor role as a biscuit and cake-obsessed child that the monster encounters. I guess it was inevitable that she'd become a TV baker in her later life. This may mean nothing to folks outside of the UK :)

I watched it for the first time on TCM. I was soo happy she wasn't killed. :-)
