I know this is a strange question, a VERY strange question, but is there anything about apples in the movie?

Yes, Widmark is eating a Colorado apple in this great Western. Offered by Felicia Farr, so, the apple would have been delicious!

and there is also a snake, who bites Valinda, the girl who acts pure but thinks impure. And to make things a little bit clear, a reader of the bible is the one who dictates justice; and what is justice under the circumstamces of a snake, appless and bibles? Marrying and raising a child.

I thought it was the boy, Tommy Rettig, who offered Widmark the apple. I forget if he bit anyone.
