The last hunt and The Shining.

I haven't seen this film since I was a kid in the fifties, but the film and it's final scenes haunted mt for years ... has anyone else noticed a strong similarity between the final scenes of The Last Hunt and The Shining?

Besides being frozen stiff....nothing else.

I seem to remember both films have a long shot near the end, with a slow zoom to their faces, frozen solid.
