I didn't enjoy this...

**SPOILERS**

So it was made to seem as if Johnny was this professional con artist that left no stone unturned and thought of every last meticulous detail - but there was just so much left to chance that it didn't add up.

1) The Russian man that was to start a fight at the bar. Johnny banked on the Russian man starting a fight and giving it everything he got in order to draw out as many cops as possible. Eventually the two armed cops in the cash room run out and this is when Johnny makes his way inside.
*** But what if the two cops from inside the cash room didn't leave? What if they were given explicit instructions that their sole job is to stay in the cash room no matter what happens? Absolutely nothing is to draw them out of the cash room? He was waiting by the door like his plan all along was to wait for these two cops to leave the room but that was taking a big chance. Or what if one of the cops happened to get the upper hand on the Russian guy by chance and the two cops never left the room? Then what does Johnny do? It just seemed like a lot was left to luck, and for a plan that is supposed to be so meticulous...this didn't make sense.

2) The rifleman choosing the overflow parking area to shoot the horse.
** This was extremely dumb. If Johnny did any research at all he would know this lot would have an attendant at it. As it turns out the attendant was there and was talking the rifleman's ear off. There was no way the attendant wouldn't have seen the man shoot the horse. This just draws unwanted attention to the man which in turn, draws unwanted attention to the heist. I'm sure there could have been a better spot somewhere around the track for the man to set up. Perhaps in a field somewhere where he isn't drawing attention to himself. This part was extremely dumb.

3) The end where his luggage is too large for carry on. Once again for a plan that was supposed to be so well thought out, why would Johnny bank on the idea that he just hopes the airport crew goes along with his idea and allows him to carry it on. Many people take their job serious and are completely by the book. He should have checked what the carry on policy was and if he had he would have known his luggage was too big.

#3 especially. He would have been smart enough to separate the cash into several bags thewy could have carried on. Also a bit weird how it breaks open so easily.

Also might have been smart to put 25-30% of the money in a safe deposit box or a locker at the airport or both. If things cool off and he is needing that money he can fly back there and get it.

Frustrating to me that the rules of Hollywood for these types of films then was that crime can never pay.
