'I love the money ' I love that face!
I love the facial expression Eddie makes when he contemplates Benko's offer. "And I love the money…but what if Toro gets hurt" (or similar words)
Maybe I love that happy smile because I know what it means, being broke…and being offered a well-paid job. You think about not having to worry how to pay your rent, your bills…about being able to eat the food you like instead of gruel, potatoes and tap water. Or wearing nice clothes instead of the rags you keep in cardboard boxes because you don't have a wardrobe.
"Love of poverty", like St. Francis of Assisi felt it (he called poverty his "bride") is something particular to well-off people. If you are poor, poverty sucks.
I'm glad I have a job now, even if it sucks, too. But at least I'm earning money.
