I know the trivia says that Bill Haley is not in the movie, but if he isn't who is the first band that plays onstage. It's the guy in the red suit with all the guys in blue suits around him. That might not be the first band, but it's very early in the movie. HELP please!!

shareEddie Fontaine (real name Eddie Reardon) was from Jersey City and had a good run as a Rock & Roller. The song he sings in "The Girl Can't Help It" is called "Cool It Baby" and came out on Decca records in 1956. The label says "from the 20th Century Fox film 'Teenage Rebel'"! He does sound kind of like Bill Haley (that big band rock & roll style). But It'd not him. Eddie Fontaine Died in 1992.
