The two reporters in the story claim to be en route to the Salzburg Music Festival - which is the very same festival the Von Trapps in "The Sound of Music" used to cover their escape from Nazi Austria.

Maybe TGP is the original source for the "Hills Have Eyes"? Maybe the Von Trapp Children really ended up in the Gamma Lab many years before - only something went wrong and some yodeler recording got drummed into their heads???

Maybe Captain von Trapp was at the helm of the Gamma People!

That evil professor in TGP uses a WHISTLE to control his young Gamma henchman - just like the Captain uses on his own brood!

I am watching this movie tonight April 06 2012. there is no other movie that you can compare it too. Its funny,terrible,has no plot. I cannot understand whats going on nor do I care. Paul Douglas looks like he's going thru the motions. I guess at the time it was a politicaly correct movie in reference to East block "Soviet" influence regime's I guess their supposed to be in East Germany. Its kind of Lost in space costumes,along with Plan 9 from outerspace. Its a B movie. guys running around in uniforms yelling something in German.lol.
