The Curse of Bridey Murphy
Another of the several films inspired by the boring and nonsensical early '50s sensation in which a woman was hypnotically regressed and discovered her past life as some Irish woman named Bridey Murphy.
In this one we have the most wholesale breaches of medical ethics by any doctor not certifiably mad (and presumably in possession of an appropriate lab). This guy starts off by getting personally involved with a patient and caps it off with some lunatic hijinks involving hypnosis and manipulating a mentally ill murderer (all in a good cause).
What matters is that the film is dull and blandly shot with a mix of mediocre and poor acting and really crappy writing. It also has an annoying use of Theremin in the otherwise uninteresting (with uninteresting being a positive in this case) musical score.
