This is not trash! None of the movies Harryhausen worked on could be called that. Maybe they seem primitive by todays standards, but back then movies like this were hailed for their FX. And most of them were pretty good anyway, which is why they all get remade.

If you want real fifties trash, go watch Corman's and Gordon's stuff.
