Can you spot Clint Eastwood in Earth VS the Flying Saucers?

Although he isn't given any credit in the movie, toward the end, tape reel location 1:10:10, he's a soldier/radio operator in the back of a jeep.

See for yourself:

and go to tape location 1:10:10

I really don't believe that Clint Eastwood was in "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers" . A man who looks like him somewhat is shown at 1:13:05 through 1:13:10 and again at 1:13:30 - 1:13:33. However, at 1:14:41, this person is stooped in a jeep operating the radio. He looks to be about 5 feet 8 inches tall, while Clint Eastwood is 6 feet 2 inches tall. At 1:15:21, the radioman speaks, but it is not Clint's voice. At 1:16:13, we see a side view of his face, but it is not Clint. At 1:20:51, there's another view of the man, but he's too short.
* NOTE: In 1955, Clint Eastwood was featured in "Francis in the Navy" , one of the Francis the Talking Mule movies. There is a BIG difference on how Clint Eastwood looks in that movie versus that other guy in EVTFS. I stand by my statement that it is NOTClint Eastwood in EVTFS!

^^ There could easily have been a continuity issue. They were just extras after all.

I noticed Clint too when watching the film - at 1:13. It has to be him.

That wasn't Clint Eastwood. Face was too big.

reply

Eastwood was a contract player at Universal at the time and would not have appeared in a Columbia film, certainly not as an extra.

reply

That looks nothing like him though. The squishy eyes are spot on though.

He was also the F-84 Thunderjet pilot in Tarantula.

He has an oxygen mask on & no face is seen, but I recognize his voice, clearly.

He was in tarantula, and also revenge of the creature, but not Betts..

It was an F-80 Shooting Star, not a Thunderjet.

He sure looks a little like Clint Eastwood, but having looked at pics of him from 1956 Clint looks a bit younger than the soldier in the film.
