remake in early 1960's?

this was remade - maybe by corman himself - in the early 1960's. does anyone know when/new title/stars? cindy dare

"In the Year 2889" has an almost identical script to this.

In the Year 2889 is a remake of this movie. Larry Buchanan remade several Corman films.

The print that's circulating on DVD is washed out but I saw it once on the pay channel Starz and the print looked crisp and clean.

I think 2889 is more watchable, but the father character is really SO lame. Just the most boring character. You'd want him dead first.

2889 has got a great poster but I haven't got round to seeing it yet because it's got such a low rating.
