Missing scenes?

When I watched the film again last night, it was missing (I think) some scenes which I thought I had seen in it over the years. When forcing Danny to become a knight, I recall that he had to pass some tests, shooting a hawk with an arrow ( an already shot one is thrown down instead) and wrestling a wild boar (which in his case turns out to be just a little piglet). Have I confused these scenes from another film? They were definitely not in it last night.

Oh, yeah, they'll do that on network stations and other stupid cable channels for time reasons and to make room for commercials. But you are right, they are in the movie.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) shows it in its complete version, and in its correct VistaVision ratio.

Yes, thank God I watched it the right way the first time. I absolutely hate it when a network screws with a movie. For whatever reason.

Yeas those are in there. Whatever version you watched is missin' one of the best parts.

Removing those bits lose a lot of the comedy, really the could have cut some of the people heading to the castle scenes.
