Watching Shirley Jones in this movie today only served to confirm my stance on how hot she was. She had so much going for her. Not least of which was a great figure, a lovely voice..singing and talking...and a peculiar kind of vulnerability that came through very clearly in those years.

Yes, I fell in love with her in 'Oklahoma!'. I always have thought she was just the sweetest, sexiest woman. (And I'm also a sucker for blondes.) She's still hot for her age. I just saw her on TCM, presenting Carousel with Robert Osborne, and she looks great.

Shirley was extremely good at being gorgeous. She could also sing well, dance a little, and fill out a dress just beautifully.
(I even liked her years later, in 'The Partridge Family'......
