Versatility

I believe that, while some parts were awkward, this film is one of the films where she moves away from the Marilyn Monroe Persona and if the direction were different Ms. Monroe would have recieved an Oscar Nomination. I love the utter lack of glamour and this movie and I think that this is why a lot of Monroe fans do not love her performance; it takes them out of their Monroe comfort zone. The movie overall in my opinion is pretty crappy BUT Monroe shines in it ... she's still a beauty and the stupid blond but it still isn't the Marilyn Monroe persona and I really enjoyed it. I'll probably never watch the movie again because of the unrealistic plot but her performance won't be forgotten.
