Encore MoviePlex shows it formatted incorrectly-

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this before. Every time this movie shows up on Encore's MoviePlex channel in letterbox format, I cringe and change the channel, because they either don't format it correctly out of pure incompetence, or change the shape of the picture out of a desire to pander to non-fans of letterboxing. Whatever the case, the picture looks just as it would if someone had popped in the DVD and then set their remote to a 16:9 position on a standard-screen TV set instead of a 4:3 position. The "black lines" at the top and bottom are smaller, as they would be if I were watching the movie on an HD TV set, but everyone looks "stretched out" vertically, as in a fun-house mirror. I'm shocked, because this is the only movie I have ever seen shown like this on TV.

Fox Movie Channel does show this film formatted correctly.
