Does anyone know where the rodeo scenes were filmed? The parade scenes were filmed in Arizona, Phoenix I think, but the rodeo scene locations are not clearly defined. I think they were filmed on the Arizona State Fair Grounds in Phoenix, but I can't be sure. Can anyone answer this question?
shareYes you are correct. The parade scene was filmed in front of the Westward Ho at Central and Fillmore. The rodeo grandstand is at the west end of the fairgrounds along 19th ave. The area is now used for demolition derbys during the fair. But some of the other exteriors were not filmed in Phoenix. There is a scene "downtown" and there is a hill....no hills like that exist in downtown Phoenix.
