Daniel-Day Lewis as Phileas Fogg?

If a movie version of Around the World in 80 Days were to be made in the near future, I think that DDL would be perfect for the role of Phileas Fogg, as he seems to be a very gentlemanly chap. Also, as DDL is so focused and concentrated, and Fogg is the same sort of person, it would be an exquisite match up.

What do you think? And who would you have play Passepartout, Aouda, and Inspector Fix?

Agreed on DDL as Fogg, he'd be great. Maybe John Cleese as Inspector Fix if he weren't so old.

Yeah DDL would obviously be great as Fogg, but it would be a waste of talent
