Brilliant and Delightful

I only caught the last half of this movie – chopped up with commercials – so I can’t write a proper review, but I’m really surprised at how much I enjoyed it – especially after browsing such negative reviews. I can be a “film snob too”, but the reviewers, imo, really missed the boat.

Cougars and old lechers – take a lesson from the French; timeless themes after all.

The dialogue was absolutely wonderful – terrific script.

Great sets and photography.

The proper British vs the French amore.
Young paired with the old.

And the comedy: excellent physical comedy and well timed skits such as three men wrestling in various states of undress in the hallway of a very respectable hotel. And the badminton skit – had me belly laughing at the shuttlecock scene!
