Those Damnable Pointy Toed High Heel Shoes!

This movie repeats a mistake seen in 1954's RIVER OF NO RETURN: it shows the leading lady wearing pointy toed high heeled shoes from the 50s, a fashion totally unknown in the 19th century. Sometimes I wonder if men actually believe that baby girls are born already wearing a very fetishistic pair of stiletto heel pointy toed shoes.

On the other hand, IMHO women look better in those pointy-toed high-heeled shoes than in the sensible shoes that real 19th century women wear. Too bad Bettie Page never made a Western!!!

High heels are republican shoes ! If men like them then they should wear them ! They are bad for your back ! Boots are better for your back and far more appealing !
