'He's....'

In the ending scene, James Dean introduced his girl to his parents and walked pass through them. Then mum & dad delievered the last line of the entire movie. They both said: "He's..."

He's what???
Im not sure if its suppose to be obvious

Heterosexual? What do they mean, im confused

reply

Im just getting used to see James Dean on the same bad type of mood

I love that ending. There's no parenting course in the world which really prepares someone to have a kid, but they genuinely cared for his welfare and wanted the best for him. It's a great moment when the elder Stark finally sides with Jim.

"He's just 17!" (This is what his mum wanted to say, I believe).

Really? If anything, I always figured "He's got a girlfriend?"

They thought they was gonna beat an education into me, but I foxed 'em.

reply

For the sake of argument, they might have said 'He's a gay!' (His dead friend was supposed to be one, wasn't he?!)
