Alot of the commentators here say out loud that Plato shot the puppies, when, if you actually LISTEN to the cop, he asks him 'why did you DROWN the puppies?' not SHOOT with a gun. He just had the gun upon himself when cops discovered him. What he was intending to do with it is unclear but he clearly did not shoot any puppy with it.

U gotta pay attention when you eatch a film, people!! SHEESH!

Just watched it with the commentary and the commentator said he shot the dogs. I have to watch it without commentary (i haven't seen it in a while...). I always thought he drowned the pups too.

You're thinking of the mansion scene later in the movie. Plato pretends to be a real estate agent showing the house to Jim and Judy, who are pretending to be newlyweds without children. Judy asks what to do when children cry, and Jim answers drown them like puppies.

Pay attention? Maybe you should follow your own advice. He shot and killed the puppies. He shot them. Period. It's clearly stated when he's being questioned. Clearly. Why would you come here, spout completely incorrect information, and then accuse others of not paying attention? Talk about delusional. All you did was make yourself look foolish and embarrass yourself. If you're unaware of that fact, you're completely clueless, in addition to delusional and just plain wrong.

It's not a university. It's a high school, which is located on a street called "University".

That Op is easily in the top 10 dumbest, most ironic posts I've ever read on IMDb. Though maybe the film sounds a bit different when you "eatch" it.
