I'm such a fan of this movie I am making plans to visit the film sites in Kansas one of which is the town of Halstead. I went to their web site and it claimed that a sequel to Picnic called Parade was filmed there in 1983. I've checked the data base and there is no mention of such a film. Anyone out there help explain this?
I believe the film you are looking for is called "The Parade" (1984) which lists Sterling, Kanasa as a filming location, not Halstead. Check out these links:
