'It's just like that movie I saw once with Betty Grable...'

i'm in a local stage production of Picnic right now and have a question. Helen Potts has a line in which she refers to a film she saw once "with Betty Grable...or was it Lana Turner?" she goes on to describe it and say that the actress in it wore glasses and did her hair plainly. Then she continues and says that the character took off her glasses and then "her boss wanted to marry her right away! I tell Millie all the boys are going to fall in love with her!"

Does anyone know what movie she's talking about? Thanks!

Wow, this is an old thread, so you probably don't even care to have an answere now, but just in-case others are interested, I believe the movie is PIN-UP GIRL, with Betty Grable. She does take off her glasses in that, and the boss does want to marry her, if I remember correctly.
