Looking for extras who were in the movie

When 9 years old, I was an extra in several halstead kansas scenes. I dove into a haystack during the picnic game scenes. May parents are visible in the crowd at the talent show.

I am interested in hearing from others who were extras for the movie and where they can be seen in the movie. I was living in Hutchinson, Kansas at the time and know there were many Hutch folks in the movie.

Lets share some memories. Looking foward to hearing from you.

This was posted a while ago! But I'm replying on the off-chance you may still lurk here, jimbaze.

(And btw, I just posted this in the 'favorite scene' thread)

My grandmother (age 10 or 11 at the time) was an extra in a scene where a group of kids go after a balloon. Her aunts & I think grandma were visible in the crowd at the talent show as well. :)

She lived in Burrton at the time.

Can anyone here who was in this movie, tell me what William Holden and Kim Novak were like in real life? (Well just based on your experience from this set - obviously you cannot generalize what they were like from this one experience, but I'm just wondering). Thanks!

How odd, the OP only logged into IMDB on the one day they posted.

What's the point of asking a question like that and not come back to check? Especially since someone did have family appear in the film.

If he was an extra in the film, he must be old, perhaps he forgot or passed away since. But anyway that was an interesting thread, I was wondering about the extras as they were many of them during the picnic.
