For all you Holden dissers - who would you have cast instead of Holden in this role?
Remember, the guy has to have raw sex appeal. Not just someone handsome, cute, or a guy with a bod. RAW is the key word here.

Steve McQueen IF they could have held up production until 1958-1961 - by '58 he was the star of his own show, and was on the verge of The War Lover and The Great Escape. He could have played a beat-up, starting-to-age Hal Carter with ease and perfection.
