Visible in Graffiti: "MAC & K.N."

There are scenes in the locker rooms after swimming, and in the men's locker room, a prominent scrawl shows "MAC & K.N." I assumed this was an inside joke concerning Kim Novak, but had no idea who "MAC" may have been. Anybody have any thoughts? It seemed too well-placed in the scene to be coincidence.

Thank you. I figured it had to be some kind of connection like that. I don't know if it would have been amusing at the time, or a distraction. At least it's a curiosity 60 years later.
