PAL DVD
Being a fan of Jack Lemmon, William Powell, and James Cagney, I decided to purchase this DVD. And while I enjoyed the film very much, I was mortified to discover that it was a pan and scan transfer. Of a CinemaScope film, no less. Warner Home Entertainment are the best in their field, but I thought they were way past pulling this kind of crap. I was just wondering if this was exclusive to the PAL release, or whether Americans have to put up with it as well. Also, the PAL version has no special features whatsoever, which was another major disappointment.
