Not sure if that is really all that scary but I should have to check it out sometime.

It's not, it's funny.

With the exception of the Queen's transformation in Snow White, I'm honestly surprised those other scenes were listed as any of Disney's 10 scariest moments. The Pleasure Island scene from Pinocchio is much more unnerving than any of those scenes simply because of how ambiguous it ends, with a lot of disturbing ideas presented beforehand. And while everyone knows about the death of Bambi's mom by now, that scene definitely stands out in my mind as something that would belong on a top 10 scariest disney moments list. Both of those scenes tap into childhood and adult fears. I'm not sure what else I would put on a top 10 list like that, but those 2 scenes would definitely be in there.

Even the Queen's transformation wasn't scary to me - it tried too hard.

If they had to put a moment in from Lady & The Tramp it should be either the rat in the baby's room, Crusty being ran over, or the dog pound.

There are several scenes in Dumbo that are much scarier than those on that list.

I could potentially see Ursula being listed there (first time I ever saw TLM, every time she was onscreen was constant nightmare fuel) but everything else... bah. I mean, Kaa's song? Was it really that creepy to be included? I can think of some far more worthy segments than that, like the Night on Bald Mountain sequence from Fantasia, all of the Black Cauldron, and the "jump scare" scenes in the Great Mouse Detective.

And considering the fact that Toy Story's included which means it's not limited to just the main animated feature canon, where the heck is the mention of Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit or damn near everything in the Brave Little Toaster?

It's as if all my fandoms have major anniversaries this year!
