Deleted?Trusty's response to Jock telling him his sense of smell is gone

I watched this on Netflix UK and noticed that near the end, after Jock tells Trusty that Trusty's sense of smell is gone (as they're pursuing the Dog Pound carriage), Trusty has a response -- his lips clearly move -- but the audio is silence.

What was his line, at this point? Has it only recently been deleted, per typical modern politically correct tampering (like editing out bits from Fantasia)? Or has that missing line always been missing?

reply

I noticed Trusty seemingly mouthing something, too. However, I think it could just be his jowls were clattering because Jock had angered him, and he was too speechless for words.

That's what I thought too.

I don't think so, Tim.

I think his mouth was quivering not actually moving. He was so insulted and angered at Jock's suggestion that he'd lost his sense of smell that he was struck speechless.

You just killed my girlfriend.....thats actually....kinda pissing me off....huh....

^ That's exactly it. There was never a line of dialog; he was just shocked and flabbergasted. He was going to say something, but couldn't find sufficient words, so he wound up just giving Jock an indignant sniff.
