Live-Action Remake?
They have made live-action 101 Dalmations. I wouldn't mind seeing this one remade live-action with good actors and well-trained dogs.

Indeed. The live-action "101 Dalmatians" was VERY well-done and, while not quite as good as the animated version in some ways (mainly due to the animals not talking... :/) it was enjoyable enough to pass... "Lady and the Tramp" (along with "The Rescuers") is currently one of my all-time favorite Disney classics, too. A live-action version (preferably with the animals actually talking in this one) would easily work in my opinion (or at least would be interesting to see how they did it.
Now, I wonder who would play/voice the people and animals in it... :/
They could make the dogs talk with similar tech they used in the "Dr Dolittle" (Eddie Murphy) remake. That was well-done!
I think Daryl Hannah would actually be good for Lady and Michael Madsen for Tramp maybe? Billy Connolly as the Scottie... or Bruce Campbell?

Yeah, I always thought Billy Connolly would make a great "Jock". Hadn't thought a lot about the two title characters, however. But Daryl Hannah and Michael Madsen could work (I know who both are... :) )
And as for "Trusty" the bloodhound, I'm not sure... Blake Clarke, Ving Rhames...can't quite decide... :/
But you came up with some good possible choices, yourself.
Rhames is an excellent actor. I think he would be a good choice.
If Michael Clark Duncan were still with us, he would be good too (may he rest in peace).
Tony Shaloub might be OK for one of the Italian chefs (remember them?). He did Luigi so well for "Cars."

sharethius is definitely a case of not If they could do it but of Can they do it Better than the Original. I personally think they could not top the Original
Oh GOOD!,my dog found the chainsaw
NO! Don't give them any ideas!!
shareI would LOVE to see live-action versions of Lady & the Tramp, Oliver & Company, The Fox & the Hound, etc., IF and only if they could attain the quality of the Homeward Bound films (and other excellent animal movies, of which Disney made quite a many.) They'd have to find and cast animals who looked as close to the characters as possible, and match them with the right voice actors, since most of the originals are no longer with us.
Wouldn't be easy to find the right canine actors, though. Some might actually have to be specifically bred...:/ For Lady you need an American Cocker of the right reddish shade. Tramp would best be portrayed by a Standard Schnauzer/Irish Terrier cross.
I've got a beautiful Cavalier King Charles that could be Lady and maybe have the voice provided by Keira Knightley
Tramp not sure about what breed of dog that would portray him but I would love to hear Channing Tatum provide his voice.
I would want Frankie Boyle to provide Jocks voice and Kiefer Sutherland as Trusty would be awesome.
Unfortunately this will probably never happen. :(
Kid on bike "Where you going?"
Charlie Bright ""Somewhere".
