Seen the movie multiple times and it never failed to make me yawn. Just an overblown soap opera for me. The only reason to watch it then and now is James Dean. Can you imagine what a clunker it would have been without him. The story is really not that interesting. We are talking about a film where one of the dramatic scenes is water gushing out of a train and lettuce wilting. That pretty much sums it up

Why would you watch a film multiple times if your only reaction was a yawn? I could see it maybe if there were points that were unclear to you, or you thought you missed something that everyone else could see. I'd really like to know your reason.
