I bought the blu ray today as part of Arrow's Cold War Creatures box set. I enjoyed this. It was fun.
Better than Plan 9 from outer space?
I think this is a better quality film than Plan 9, but I actually enjoyed Plan 9 better than Creature with the Atom Brain. I would rate Creature with the Atom Brain a 7/10. Definitely worth checking out if you like 50s sci-fi.
