Original soundtrack now on CD
Intrada has just released a two-CD set featuring the original motion picture soundtracks of four George Pal films: Conquest of Space, When Worlds Collide, The War of the Worlds and The Naked Jungle.
Three of the four have the complete scores, plus bonus tracks of music recorded for but not used in the films. Unfortunately many of the tracks from TWOTW have been lost, leaving only about 16 minutes of music, plus about 6 minutes of bonus material. But this is still a terrific set.
The CD retails for $29.95 and is available at screenarchives.com.
