I made a short film which was influenced by John Alton's DP work in this
It's called 'Red Handed'. It is an anachronistic homage to the classic film noir genre where vintage mobsters roam the modern day streets with tommy guns, federal agents are relentless and a pretty dame flirts with danger for the sake of a flashy lifestyle. All set against a score of jazzy tunes and heavy brass numbers.
Worth the watch if you have a second.
