Homaged in the movie "1941"?
In the movie "1941", there's an homage to "Jaws" where a skinny-dipping woman finds herself clung to a periscope belonging to a rising submarine. Seeing "A&CMTKK" makes me believe it's simultaneously an homage to this movie when Costello gets saved from the ocean by the submarine and it's periscope.
