Looks like it's real and not a make-up lip for a scene.
Noticed it a few episodes back but it hasn't gone away, so it must be real.

Anyone know the lip's history?
Just saw Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode "Ride the Nightmare" with Hugh O'Brien from 1963. Cut lip is still there so definitely not makeup.
Also guest starred John Anderson as an old penitentiary buddy but was Wyatt's older brother Virgil in episode of Wyatt Earp I saw this afternoon.
